General advice

General advice

What is general advice?

General advice is broad in nature and not tailored - it doesn’t take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. It will inform you about the features of the product or scheme but won’t tell you how it might fit into your own financial situation.

This type of knowledge can provide practical steps and factual information when you need help to learn more about super.

Where to get general advice

As a Super SA member, you can access general advice in three ways: on our website, directly from our member Services Team, or via an education session hosted by our Member Education Team.

No matter which method you choose, the information is explained in simple terms to make it easy to understand1.
