One organisation, two boards

Super SA – initially known as Public Service Superannuation Fund – has been proudly providing superannuation services to more than 185,000 South Australians since our inception in 1903. Throughout our history, our unwavering commitment has been to deliver in members’ best interests and champion their financial well-being.

Today, our focus is on continued growth, sustainability and modernisation with a vision to be the most trusted superannuation fund for current and former South Australian public servants.

We operate under one roof in the heart of the Adelaide CBD with two governing bodies. Each Board member of the two Boards plays a vital role in the overall growth and financial sustainability of Super SA.

If you are interested in nominating for either of the Boards, please go to the Electoral Commission of South Australia website and follow the process outlined. Nominations are open to anyone interested in joining the Boards.

  • The South Australian Superannuation Board, referred to as Super SA Board, serves as the governing body for the Triple S Scheme, State Superannuation Scheme and SA Ambulance Superannuation Scheme and is accountable to the Treasurer of South Australia.

The members of the Board are entrusted with the management, administration, and product settings of the three schemes, and ensuring that member investments are well taken care of.

This Board is made up of a presiding member, two members appointed by the Governor, and two members elected by Super SA members. This year, we have two member-elected positions available.
